Euro-Divers Cala Joncols

The EuroDivers centre is located in the grounds of the Cala Joncols hotel in the bay of the same name, within the Cap Creus natural park. Open every week from April 1st to September 30th, the centre welcomes divers during the weekends out of season. Groups are welcomed in Roses for both accommodation and boarding the 20-seater boat. The charming Cala Joncols hotel, set amidst a bouquet of olive trees, is ideal for couples and families and offers a popular restaurant serving tasty Mediterranean cuisine. A small swimming pool at the foot of the hotel provides fun for children. Kayak and stand up paddle departures are available from the large beach in front of the hotel.

The Eurodivers centre, integrated into the hotel, offers diving departures from the beach for children's training, baptisms and PADI beginner training exercises. The more experienced divers embark on the boat with a capacity of about twenty people where PADI Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver courses are held. Specialities such as night diving, object finding and orientation are offered to divers wishing to improve their skills. About fifteen diving spots are accessible from EuroDivers Cala Joncols. Schools of sea breams, sars and saupes are found in the middle of the posidonia. Beautiful scree drop-offs shelter lobsters and crabs. The walls of the crevices are covered with red coral even at shallow depths. Ask for packages including overnight stays and dives.
