A beautiful playground awaits you with diving spots in Taba Heights stretching from the Red Sea Waterworld marina to Farun Island, towards the Israeli border in the north. The Taba Heights dive sites are perfect for beginners who need reassurance, advanced divers who don't want to mess around, and snorkelers who are always a good crowd! There are eleven sites that are great to explore with the feeling of being alone in the world.

Indeed, there are no other boats on the island, apart from the replica of Henri de Monfreid's wooden boat for tourists' sea trips. A delightful little Red Sea fauna awaits you with groupers, triggerfish, and clownfish, especially at The Aquarium and Angel's Net. Other dives take place near the Ras, small rocky headlands at the foot of the mountain, drained by a gentle current to sustain coral life, such as at Napoleon Reef and Maxwell's Reef.

Then there are bays with calmer waters such as Marsa El Mugabila and bright waters such as The Sun Pool. Did you know that you can dive into the Egyptian-Israeli border? There is a diving center within the Hilton Taba Resort & Nelson Village Hotel. Underwater, you are between an Israeli and an Egyptian coast guard boat, which limits your diving area. Night dives are not allowed here! This shore dive is ideal for beginners, and for those who want to do PADI training.

Are you a more experienced diver? Board the Red Sea Waterworld boats at Taba Heights Marina for a half-day trip. Head north towards Israel and explore the underwater world of Pharoh Island, a small island with a castle on top, 250 meters from the coast. Underwater, the gently sloping walls are crisscrossed by fusiliers, up to 25 meters deep. Fjord, a deep cove with turquoise waters, surrounded by high ochre mountains, is ideal for scuba diving.

Ras Amira, a small cape drained by a gentle current, is an easy dive with beautiful fire coral galore and swarms of anthias. The advantage of a diving holiday at Taba Heights is the proximity, within 200m of each hotel, of dive sites with sumptuous Acropora tables 2.5m in diameter, sprawling on the sand at 17m depth.
