For Advanced Open Water Diver, boat trips are also available to beautiful dive sites such as Panorama Reef and Abu Kefan as well as to the Salem Express for a nice wreck dive.

Your diving holiday in Ras Abu Soma includes the opportunity to explore little-dived sites such as Sha'ab Sayman when the weather is right. Imagine yourself walking through a lush coral garden, almost from the surface down to 30m, with beautiful Acropora coral tables and staghorn corals. The shallow depth allows beginners to dive safely. Advanced divers descend along the reef to 30m to see the sharks pass by. The two best dive sites in Ras Abu Soma? A drop-off for drift diving and a huge garden in front of the main jetty, where you can take the PADI or SSI Underwater Naturalism specialty.

The seven coral columns of Tobia Arba, sheltered from the prevailing winds, remain Safaga's most popular spot for underwater photography, night diving, Sidemount, and nitrox specialties. Further out, the reassuring spot of Sandy Island is a great place to snorkel and blow your first bubbles. It is also a popular spot for kite surfing. The small reefs such as Tobia Kebir and Tobia Soraya or Gamoul Soraya and Gamoul Kebir are located in an isolated way, on a sandy bottom at 20 m. They are home to an incredible array of small reef fauna such as stingrays, flying scorpionfish, butterflyfish, and parrotfish. Rehabilitation dives are available for those who have not dived for 6 months. The sites off Ras Abu Soma, such as Sha'ab Claude, Sha'ab Sheer, and Middle Reef, are less well known by divers, but still offer great encounters with white tip sharks in beautiful underwater coral landscapes.

Scuba World Divers is located at the Mövenpick Resort in Soma Bay, a seaside resort on the Red Sea, 45 km south of Hurghada International Airport. Soma Bay is a peninsula surrounded by the sea, a real refuge to escape the hustle and bustle of the cities.
