Scuba diving vacations in the Mediterranean coast can start with a visit to Monaco perched on its rock, the old town of Menton at sunrise, the flower market in Nice, the ramparts of Antibes, and the very popular Croisette in Cannes. Menton allows you to discover the wide diving area from Italy to Monaco. If you are a teck diver, explore the wrecks of the Heinkel 111 bomber, the Catalina seaplane, and the Gazelle helicopter. In Monaco, you also visit a former tugboat, Le Toulonnais.

The best dive sites of Nice are located 10 minutes by boat from the port. The coastline is very rugged with areas sheltered from the east or west wind. To see: the Virgin, a statue sculpted by Alfred Galtieroti, the Plane, a small rally in the bay of Villefranche, the wooden wreck of a luxury yacht, the Shéhérazade. Don't miss the very popular dive site, "Sec à Merlot"!

From Antibes, Juan-les-Pins, and Golfe-Juan, you reach the wreck called the Robuste II, the miniature underwater village, the Grotte de Miro with its three entrances, and the sumptuous dive site "Enfer de Dante" (Hell of Dante) with its red gorgonians. Offshore, from the Lerins Islands, access to Bilitis, as well as the very popular sites of Vengeur, the Tradelière, and the Coral Cave.

During a dive trip to Théoule-sur-Mer, you will enjoy diving in the Cap Roux reserve, which is full of fish with a very large school of barracudas and many groupers.

From Fréjus and Saint-Raphaël, the dives take place around the Lion de Mer island, with its rocky arch and statues of the Mermaid and the Virgin, as well as to the Golden Island which would have inspired Hergé with the adventures of Tintin. The underwater village of Agay also attracts curious divers.

In Sainte-Maxime and Saint Tropez, divers explore a series of rocks, screes, and drop-offs. But you can also access many wrecks such as "La Poursuivante" (The Pursuer), The Trafik, The Prophet, The Relax, The Tell as well as the famous submarine Rubis.

Make a stop in Cavalaire-sur-Mer to visit the wrecks of the Ramon Membru, the Espingole, and the superb sailing and steam cargo ship, Togo.

From Hyères, Bormes-les-Mimosas, La Londe-les-Maures, and Le Lavandou divers explore the protected archipelago of the Golden Islands - composed of Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant - in the middle of rich biodiversity. Here you can also admire superb aircraft and boat wrecks to be seen, such as the Mustang, the Michel C, the City of Grasse, the Greek, and the famous Donator.

In Saint-Mandrier, two rocks, "Les Deux Frères" (The Two brothers), emerge from the water and signal the wreck of the Arroyo, the local attraction!
Less well known, the Six-Fours diving area also reserves some nice surprises because of the small islands that provide shelter from the wind in all weather conditions. Thus, go to the Gaou Embiez Islands emerging from the Embiez submarine plateau. Very nice dive at "Sec d'Alon".

The dive centers of La Ciotat and the port of Les Lecques, nestled at the bottom of a large bay, take you to Pilotine, Les Ancres (The Anchors), Fortier, la Rague. Divers also explore the famous wreck of a fighter plane, the P38. Around the Green Island, snorkelers appreciate the rich marine life.

Make a stop in the superb little village of Cassis, in the middle of the creeks, to dive at Pointe Cacau, rocky scree characterized by the presence of three cannons: visit the drop-off of Castel Vieil covered with gorgonians, explore the Red Coral Cave, and admire the tunnels of the Eissadon.

Marseille, one of the best diving destinations in Europe, is the ideal starting point to explore the creeks protected by a Marine Park. Divers discover wrecks and numerous caves, located around the archipelagos of the Riou, Frioul and Planier islands.

Argelès-sur-Mer, Collioure, Banyuls-sur-Mer and Cerbère offer the discovery of two marine reserves, one of which is Banyuls. Further south, half-day or full-day trips to Spain, in the Cap Creus reserve. You will discover about 1,200 animal species listed there, including grouper, large cicada, seabream as well as 500 plant species!
Scuba diving in the Eastern Pyrenees also allows you to explore four superb shipwrecks, the cargo ship Alice Robert - known as the Bananier, the English coal ship l'Astrée, the Scottish freighter Saumur and the mineral freighter Saint Lucien.
