The Armor Plongée diving center is located in the Bay of St-Brieuc, in the Côtes d'Armor. Open all year round, during the day and in the evening, Armor Plongée has the particularity of operating a diving pit. Ideal for training exercises, this heated indoor pool, 5 meters deep, is located on the premises of the Saint-Brieuc Plongée shop, in the Hazaie commercial zone in Trégueux. Easily accessible, not far from the RN12, this pool is equipped with changing rooms, showers, and toilets, and has a parking area. The Armor Plongée training center gives FFESSM courses for beginners with baptisms and Level 1, children, and freediving. Ideal for overcoming apprehensions about cold water, wide-open spaces, lack of visibility, or when you only have small time slots. Next to the pool is a classroom and a relaxation area where you can enjoy a coffee before or after your session. To discover the fauna and flora of the Atlantic with the Armor Plongée club, go to the premises located on the port in Saint-Quay Portrieux. Come aboard the 7-meter long semi-rigid Jambo, approved for 20 passengers. Equipped with a raised bottle rack, the layout of this boat guarantees comfortable boarding and launching of divers. The small equipment is stored under the rack and a large stainless steel ladder allows divers to go up. The coasts of Armor and the bay of Saint-Brieuc, where cliffs, creeks, dunes, and beaches follow one another, present "ridains", sand dunes created by the tidal current, rising up to 6 m from the bottom. Here you can explore the wrecks of late 19th century steamers such as Iceland, Molène, and the Sea Spray with its incredible propeller. The bay is a paradise for marine biologists and photographers. The Saint Malo Plongée Émeraude diving centre is located in Saint Malo, in Ille-et-Vilaine, Brittany. The premises, accessible to people with reduced mobility, are open from February to mid-December. The Club House area is a place to meet for coffee or tea. Two classrooms are equipped with video projectors and whiteboards. The 8m deep diving pool is heated and used for exercises. Men's and women's changing rooms are equipped with hot showers. A rinsing tank and storage cages for drying equipment are available. Nitrox, pure oxygen and helium are available. A truck transports the equipment to the boats. The Saint-Malo Plongée Émeraude training centre, which is also approved for professionals, organises FFESSM courses either in block courses or à la carte, whether for beginners with level 1 baptisms or for the more experienced, with levels 2, 3 and 4. From the age of 8, alone, with family, friends or in a group, everyone has their own air or nitrox diving programme. Meet at the centre for 45 minutes before walking to the boats at the Naye slipway. Your equipment is transported by truck. Embark on one of the boats, either the MacLow catamaran of 12 metres, which can accommodate 30 divers, or the semi-rigid Margatte or the 11-metre speedboat, Cassiopée. The best spots in the Channel are accessible to you with conger eels, lobsters, scallops, spiders, sea bass and pollack. Visit the German wrecks of the Second World War such as the Walter Darré and the Hinrich Hey, the M4600, the RO 21 cargo ship, the V213. The Quiberon Plongée diving centre is located at Port Haliguen 2 in Quiberon. To get there by train, stop in Auray, 25 kilometers from Quiberon. In July and August, the Tire Bouchon arrives in Quiberon. The nearest airport is in Lorient. On the spot, you will find the inflation station with a compressor and its 4 buffer bottles. There is a small shop where you can buy equipment. It is possible to buy second-hand equipment at the end of the season. The Quiberon Plongée training center offers FFESSM and ADIP courses from level 1 to 3 as well as discovery packages including first dives. Come aboard the wooden boat La Petite Julie, 9.25 m long, or the semi-rigid Le Mada, 6.70 m long. Underwater explorations are for those who already have a Level 1 certification. These allow for several types of themed outings such as night dives, day dives, wreck dives, exploration of caves, and rocky drop-offs, varying from 8 to 40 meters in depth. Safety determines the choice of the appropriate site according to the experience level of the divers onboard the boat. Aber Wrac'h Plongée is located in Landeda, Finistère, in the west of France. Aber Wrac'h Plongée is open all year round. The infrastructure of Aber Wrac'h Plongée is adapted to the comfort of the divers, in the heart of the deep water harbor, a few steps away from the shops. Aber Wrac'h Plongée offers you the whole range of FFESSM training courses from the baptism to the level 3 initiation as well as explorations. The dives at Landeda are done along the Côte des Légendes, near Aber Benoit up to the Ile Vierge. Expect also nice dives with an abundant fixed fauna on the Roche aux Moines, Basse Marie, La Grande Fourche. When the weather allows it, take advantage of wreck trips such as the Elektra, a Greek cargo ship, sunk in 1963 on 20 m of water, or the Amoco Cadiz, a supertanker that ran aground about thirty years ago in the north of the Abers, in Portsall. The dives in Aber Wrac'h take place at a depth of 10 meters in the middle of a great wealth of flora and fauna such as sole, tilefish, edible crab, curlew, and sepiola. The Korejou Plongée diving centre is located in Saint-Pabu, in the North Finistère, 20 minutes north of Brest. Open from February to November, Korejou Plongée provides two trips per day, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon, with meeting times confirmed at the time of booking. The premises include a reception, rental equipment stock, men's and women's changing rooms with hot showers, sanitary facilities and an inflation station.
