Dive trip Morea
Stay, Diving holidays in Polynesia, in Morea
You're going to Tahiti, Polynesia? Make a detour to Moorea, located opposite, 17 km away!Being part of the Windward Islands, in the Society Archipelago, Tahiti and Moorea are just separated by a deep channel that in some places is over 1500 meters deep. You will love Moorea because of its mountainous origin, you can pleasantly combine diving with other activities in a superb environment of lush vegetation, waterfalls, rivers, magnificent gardens, white sandy beaches near beautiful pandanus roofs.
With two beautiful bays, Opunohu and Cook, Morrea is surrounded by a reef divided by 12 passes, which are beautiful drop-offs to explore. These passes allow water masses to pass from the Pacific Ocean to the lagoon and back again, depending on the tides. This explains the richness of the local biodiversity and therefore the popularity of Mooréa for scuba diving, snorkeling, and freediving.During a diving vacation in Moorea, you will be sure to observe lemon sharks on a good number of dive sites accessible to all levels of divers, to the delight of photographers!Moorea is so interesting that two scientific stations have been set up there to carry out in-depth studies on the marine environment!
