TGI Diving center is located near the airport of Marsa Alam, Egypt, inside the Sea Club Gorgonia Beach Resort Hotel. The resort is located on the edge of a beautiful natural bay connected to a series of lagoons opening onto reefs full of life. The diving center includes a store, reception, a room to store, and rinse your equipment, toilets and shower rooms, a classroom equipped with audiovisual teaching aids. Here you can rent recent diving equipment. The training sessions as well as some explorations take place on the hotel's House reef, accessible from the beach. Experienced instructors offer you SSI training courses ranging from the free pool initiation, Try scuba, to the Divemaster. You have the choice with many specialties such as deep diving, night diving, wreck diving... Thanks to a unique location near the protected underwater park of Marsa Alam, various excursions are offered both in diving and snorkeling. Monkey Divers Diving College is located in Marsa Alam, a small Egyptian town on the Red Sea, 271 km south of Hurghada, and 40 km south of Mersa Alam airport. You have the possibility to train divers from beginner to advanced level in this school. Monkey Divers Diving College also proposes you to make diving trips to Elphinstone and Abu Ghusun SS Hamadi. Choose the number of dives you wish and add the formula of transfer by minibus and/or boat. Meals and drinks are to be paid on the boat. Marsa Alam is a very nice place to start the dive by going to Sha'ab Mersa Alam located just in front of the dive site. On the spot the remains of a small wreck concentrate barracudas. The Wadi Gimal reserve, more to the south, allows you to explore magnificent coral gardens with numerous turtles visible almost every time you go out. Red Sea Diving Safari Marsa Shagra Village is a 3-hour drive from Hurghada (253 km) and 30 minutes from Marsa Alam (40 km). This place is ideal because of its Housereef, 2 km long, made up of North and South reefs which join to form a natural bay with a sandy slope going down from 1 to 10 m first, then continuing to the outer drop-offs, at 40m deep. To dive there, you can take an unlimited diving package each, with your buddy. You first do two guided orientation dives on arrival, then you dive without a guide, within the limits of your prerogatives and according to the package you have chosen. The administrative office is open from 8 am to 5 pm but it is possible to dive from 6 am to 8 pm. Zodiacs moored at the jetty can be used to explore the outer dive sites (at an extra charge). An air-conditioned classroom with a flat-screen TV is available for training, unless you choose the PADI eLearning course solution, allowing you to enjoy your diving holidays more! Bring thick-soled slippers with adjustable fins to go diving from the shore, otherwise, you'll have to rent them on site! From here, we leave early morning to Elphinstone in a fast semi-rigid boat. We leave for the reefs of Satayah from the port of Hamata (navigation 2 hours) or by speed boat from Wadi Lahami (navigation 45 minutes). You can also reach Shaab Samadai, a marine park where you can swim with dolphins in the wild, in 30 minutes by car and then in 20 minutes by zodiac. A hyperbaric center is located on-site within the village of Marsa Shagra. Each diver must pay the mandatory insurance of 7 euros for the duration of the stay (does not cover hospitalization or transportation). Red Sea Diving Safari Marsa Nakari Village is located 18 km south of Marsa Alam, Egypt on the Red Sea. It is established on a historical site dating back to Roman times, known to the ancients as the port of Nechesia. Remains can still be seen at the top of a hill at the southern end of the bay. Currently, the Marsa Nakari dive resort has been established in this bay where the House reef is located. You can rent royal tents, huts, tents, deluxe and standard chalets with the dive center, cafeteria, and massage center on-site. The main attraction of the dive resort is its proximity to the Samadai Marine Park (Dolphin House). Sedentary longirostris dolphins stay in the lagoon under the shelter of a large half-moon-shaped reef. Diving and snorkeling are possible. There is one boat trip per day to the reef with an extra charge if you have previously purchased an unlimited diving package on the House Reef. Boat trips are also organized to the marine park of Wadi el Gemal which is composed of rocky islets full of birds and well-preserved reefs with many turtles. Many other excursions to discover special marine life or other dive sites are available! It is also possible to follow PADI and TDI training courses for adults and children, from Open Water to Divemaster levels.
