The Aquaventure diving center is located in Sant Disdille, in Thonon-Les-Bains on the shores of Lake Geneva. During the winter, Aquaventure offers ice diving at Lake Montriond, at an altitude of 1064 meters, which is the third-largest lake in Haute Savoie, after Lake Geneva and Lake Annecy. The lake is 1320 m long and 235 m wide, and 19 m deep!
Every winter, a layer of ice varying from 60 cm to 1 m covers the whole lake of Montriond on more than 10 hectares. This majestic site, overhung by a cliff of a few hundred meters and bordered by a snowy track of more than 3 km, is filled with calm. Embark on a new experience in the middle of a sumptuous landscape of mountains and forests in a wild setting.
On-site, the Aquaventure training center allows you to access the facilities where you can equip yourself in comfort with separate heated changing rooms for men and women, toilets, and hot showers. Aquaventure club provides you with the necessary equipment with waterproof suits equipped with waterproof gloves and anti-ice regulators.
