The Leman Aquaventure diving centre is located in the St Disdille campsite, on the shores of Lake Geneva, in Thonon-Les-Bains, Haute-Savoie. Diving trips are planned by appointment only, usually at 9 am and 2 pm. You benefit from spacious facilities with a classroom, a video projector, a whiteboard, and WIFI, which allows you to give theoretical lessons in good conditions. The place is very comfortable with hot showers and toilets as well as a reception area where you are briefed. A storage room allows you to store your personal diving equipment. A small coffee corner offers the opportunity to chat with other divers before and after the dive!
The rental equipment, which includes about twenty dry suits very well suited to lake diving, is regularly renewed. Specific equipment is reserved for children. From the age of 8, they can take FFESSM Bronze Diver, Silver Diver and Gold Diver courses. The must in winter is to go ice diving at Lake Montriond... and even do night ice diving! The Leman Aquaventure training centre organises courses in many PADI specialities including Ice Diver.
However, you can choose to stay in Lake Geneva and become a Wreck Diver or do Underwater Orientation. Ideal for underwater biology courses, the underwater fauna of Lake Geneva is varied with perch, pike, roach, blennies, tench, gudgeon and grayling. Become an underwater photographer by following the PADI speciality to bring back beautiful memories of your lake dives. The filling station is state of the art with the possibility to dive with Nitrox and Trimix or even learn to use a rebreather.
