The Cave to Be

The Cave to Be is located in Gramat in the Lot, in the heart of France, the highest place for underground diving in Europe and the third highest in the world. It is the only underground diving school installed in a sustainable way by being open all year round. The water temperature varies from 12 to 14° all year round and the visibility reaches more than 20 meters. As soon as you arrive, go to the Air, Nitrox, and Trimix inflation station up to 320 bars and Oxygen up to 200 bars. There you can rent all types of equipment dedicated to ceiling diving with a store corner for those who want to invest. Oli has good advice on the choice of dry clothes, harnesses, wings, regulators, primary and secondary lights. He offers training according to TDI, IANTD, GUE standards. The non-diving companions have various activities on site.

After a welcome briefing and explanations on the specificity of the cave equipment, you drive through the valleys to access the local basins, natural and wild places showing a magical atmosphere. The region abounds with nice and popular places to visit such as Rocamadour, the Padirac chasm, the caves of La Cave. While waiting for the return of their parents, your children also have their distractions with the monkey forest, the bee house, the animal park, the adventure course in the trees.
