Dive Exuma

Dive Exuma is located on the government wharf in the center of Georgetown, Great Exuma, Bahamas. Dive departures are held daily in the morning from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Snorkeling trips are held in the afternoon from 1:30 to 4:30 pm. Dive Exuma offers PADI courses from Discover Scuba Diver to Rescue Diver. Come aboard an 11m Twin Vee catamaran, certified for 9 divers, for underwater exploration in tanks, snorkeling, and freediving.

Private trips are also available as Dive Exuma specializes in taking small groups to some of the best dive spots in the Bahamas. Trips are tailored to the experience and requirements of the divers. You have the opportunity to visit the Angelfish Blue Hole, located in an enclosed bay off Stocking Island, with its Caribbean wildlife, rays, and turtles. This dive spot, one of the most popular in the Exumas, is an underground network connected to another cave, Mystery Cave, marked by a school of sergeant majors. Don't miss the Dog'n Pup reef with snappers and porcupine fish, popular for its variety of soft and hard corals, where spotted moray eels and green moray eels are camouflaged.

See Caribbean lobsters at Stingray Reef. Elizabeth Reef is a great site for groups and snorkelers as it is a fish nursery with a school of sedentary eagle rays! In 2005, Dive Exuma sank a 20m long tugboat to serve as an artificial reef, covered in sponges and corals and home to Nassau groupers, 2m long moray eels, barracuda, blue chromis, and parrotfish. Great Exuma is ideal for its clear waters, deserted sandy beaches, and secluded bays.
