The Reef Marina

The Reef Marina Dive Center, located in Playa del Carmen, Mexico is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort. The Reef Marina has branch-offices on Playacar and Coco Beach, at the foot of The Reef Playacar Resort & Spa and The Reef Coco Beach Resort & Spa-hotels. It's easy access from the hotel and the beach. It's open all year round. You will find a comfortable and practical infrastructures with changing rooms, shower, WC, swimming pool, classroom, equipment room, rinsing tank. The Reef Marina also offers other activities with Waverunner, catamaran, kayak to spend unforgettable moments with your family. The supervisors speak French, English, and Spanish. Their motto? Being serious without taking yourself seriously! Departures are every day with the 12 pax capacity boat La Reefy, with sun-protected cover for the Playa del Carmen sites and the Maya Riviera coral reef. You can encounter turtles, morays, rays, sponges and gorgonians, nurse sharks and in season, with bulldog sharks. You can also do drift dives in Cozumel, along the 15 emblematic drop-offs of the island such as Palancar, Santa Rosa, Colombia, San Francisco, Yucab, Paraïso. The meeting is at 9:00 am at the dive center to take the 10:00 am ferry. At the port of Cozumel, you will board for 2 dives on 2 different reefs. A snack is included in the surface interval. After the dive trip, you can walk around the town before returning to Playa by ferry. You can also discover the Yucatan cenotes with specialized guides, accessible to more experienced divers. The meeting will be at 8:30 am at the dive center to check the equipment and load it into the pickup. It takes 20 to 50 min for 2 dives in cenotes with drinks and lunch during the surface interval. You will be back in Playa del carmen downtown around 3 pm.
