Dorado Buceo is located in Puerto Morelos, along the Caribbean coast of Mexico. Outings take place every day from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm and 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm. You are required to have a diving certificate and present it at the time of your appointment. These trips include 2 dives, a guide, boat transportation, lunch, and drinks. You can do one of 3 dives during the day. Nitrox is available upon reservation. Puerto Morelos' vibrant reefs are reserved for certified divers only.
Here you can explore wrecks, drop-offs, and underwater coral advances. Generally, currents vary from moderate to strong depending on weather conditions. Boats are not allowed to moor freely in the Puerto Morelos Marine Park but only at pre-installed mooring buoys. And when there are none, then the divers go down into the open water, with no reference line for their descent and with some drift. It is therefore strongly recommended that you use a surface buoy to make your ascent in complete safety.
Note the eco-responsible actions of the Dorado Buceo managers who collect the plastic waste once a month for recycling.
