Red Sea Diving College is located in Naama Bay, in the heart of Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. This beautiful seaside town, also popular for its meetings with world leaders, has a large bay with white sandy beaches and a palm-lined promenade bustling with life, bars and restaurants. The Red Sea Diving College PADI IDC training centre offers courses in several languages, from beginner Scuba Diver to PADI OWSI Instructor level. Try your hand at one of the Sidemount specialitie, underwater navigation, night diving or try the rebreather to get up close and personal with Red Sea wildlife. Alain Sobol, the owner of the Red Sea Diving College, the oldest diving centre in Sinai, welcomes you on his boats.
On board the Red Sea Diving College boats, you will go to Laguna Reef, a reef located west of Tiran Island. In a beautiful lagoon, a coral garden with beautiful Acropora tables flourishes. Every day during your diving trip to Sharm-el-Sheikh, trips are made to Ras Muhammad National Park, at the tip of the Sinai Peninsula. This area of current mixing, carries a large mass of plankton, attracting Red Sea fauna such as sharks and rays. Nitrox filling is offered if you are a certified Nitrox Diver.
The dive sites in Sharm El Sheikh are chosen according to the weather and the experience of the divers on board the boats that day. On the Gubal Strait side, explore the Thistlegorm, one of the most popular wrecks in the Red Sea. On the Straits of Tiran side, explore one of Sharm El Sheikh's 4 most-dived reefs, Jackson Reef, Woodhouse Reef, Thomas Reef and Gordon Reef. Jackson Reef, located to the north, is also known to technical divers for its wreck, the Lara, a Cyprus-registered ship that sank in 1985 to great depths.
