Phocea Bali is located in Pemuteran, in the northwest of Bali, Indonesia, inside the Mimpi Nyata Villas Hotel, a five-room modern hotel with beautiful Balinese decoration. You can also stay at the more local Rhipidura Bungalows, nestled in a tropical garden and located 150 meters from the other accommodation, 400 meters from the beach of Pemuteran. Here you are far from mass tourism, in the balance between black sand beaches, clear waters, and mountains rising to the horizon, with a scent of Balinese culture.
To vary your outings, don't hesitate to mix your dives around Pemuteran with those around Mejangan Island. Rendezvous at 8:30 am to prepare your equipment with a departure at 8:45 am. After a 5 mn drive to the Permuteran port, board one of the 2 speedboats, certified 20 and 10 divers either to pass levels and follow PADI specialties or for explorations between drop-offs and black sand. About 10 to 15 minutes are enough to reach the dive sites with toadfish, ghost pipefish, and leaf fish. Water, tea, and coffee are offered onboard.
Depending on the number of dives made, you return to shore at 10, 12, or 15 hours. The night dive takes place at 6 pm in the evening with 3 possible dive sites from the beach: Biorock for steel structures, Reef Seen shore for corals and shrimps, and Macro Jetty, with nudibranchs, shrimps, and octopus.
