Dive Systems Dive Centre is located in Malta, 90 kilometres south of Sicily, Italy, a few hours flight from Europe, served daily by several low-cost airlines. Situated on the seafront on the Sliema promenade, this training school, the oldest in Malta with 40 years of existence, is a founding member and active participant of the Professional Diving School Association of Malta (PDSA) with recognition from the Ministry of Education as a PADI 5 Star Career Development Centre and PADI TEC-REC Authorised Centre.
Here you can safely follow a PADI recreational and/or the training course with instructors and dive guides giving courses in several languages. As they are familiar with the dive sites, including wrecks, you will have the opportunity to explore the underwater world. During the summer, BBQ parties are organized after the night dives. Malta is declared one of the best diving destinations in Europe, due to the incredibly clear water down to 40 meters, which is warmer than anywhere else in the Mediterranean as during 6 months it is at least 15°C.
Explore here World War II ships such as HMS Maori in Valletta as well as aircraft such as the Bristol Beaufighter located just opposite the Dive Systems dive club. Other wrecks of submarines and warships are deeper. These relics also serve as artificial reefs with an abundance of marine life including sea urchins, starfish, and octopuses. Groups are welcome at Dive Systems from April to the end of June, and from October to November.
