Mundo Submarino is located in Veracruz, Mexico. It's opened Monday to Friday from 9 am to 7 pm, Saturday from 8 am to 8 pm and Sunday from 8 am to 3 pm. On-site, you will find a shop with rental and sale of equipment, filling station. You can rent brand new and quality dive gear to enjoy diving comfortably and safely. The modern boat has a capacity of 12 pax with jumps sheltering from the rain and sun and gets quickly to the dive sites. Drinks and snacks on board are offered during the surface interval between the 2 dives. The supervision is made by qualified instructors and guides. They offer exploratory dives, snorkeling, and freediving, day and night. It's possible to dive with nitrox. The diving courses taught at Mundo Submarino are based on the educational system developed by the recreational diving agencies PADI, NAUI, CMAS and SSI, all regulated by the RSTC, an advice agency that certifies and establishes recreational diving standards worldwide. Yucatek Divers is located in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, south of Cancun, about 45 minutes by car, within the grounds of the Casa Tucan Hotel. There is the office, equipment and swimming pool. You will find a family atmosphere. It's open from 8 am to 5 pm. The multilingual instructors will provide your dive training in your language. We are looking for a certain quality of diving here with a maximum of 6 divers per boat. The destination is perfect for divers of all levels. Every day, Yucatek Divers takes you to explore the Mexican Maya Riviera, the longest coral reef in the Western Hemisphere. On request, trips in the jungle are organized to access the cenotes, the famous network of caves and underground caves of world renown. It is also possible to go to the island of Cozumel, visible eastwards from Playa beach, 45 minutes by ferry. From June to September, Yucatek Divers also organizes a trip to encounter the whale shark, the world's largest fish, when they pass off Holbox Island, a 3-hour drive north of Playa del Carmen, at the tip of the Yucatan Peninsula. The excursion starts at 4 am in the morning with a departure by comfortable minibus to reach the fishing village of Chiquila, then you board a ferry to Holbox Island with a 1-hour trip to be on site. You can even encounter Dolphins. On the way back, we can see the pink flamingos in Punta Mosquito. Lunch is provided in Holbox before heading back to Playa del Carmen. The Scuba Team Cabo Verde diving school is located on the island of Sal, in the Cape Verde archipelago, about 50 meters from the Morabeza Hotel. Imagine yourself on a fine sandy beach, in the middle of dunes and in front of a sparkling sea, about 100 m from the center of the town of Santa Maria, next to the old port! The first dive of the morning starts at 8.30 am with a boat departure at 9 am. On request, another trip can be scheduled at 10:30. In the afternoon, the boat leaves at 2.30 pm. This is said to be the oldest diving center on the island. The guides and instructors teach in French, Portuguese, English, Spanish, Italian, and, of course, Creole. This CMAS, PADI, ANMP, FFESSM, and FPAS training center offers courses for beginners with the Discover Scuba Diver course up to the advanced Divemaster course. Divers are allocated to different boats according to their experience and level. The equipment rented is up to standard, recent, regularly renewed, and revised every year. All dives are guided by an instructor or a divemaster. The Haliotis diving center is located in the Colombo Hotel, on Santa Maria Island, Azores. The infrastructure can accommodate 60 people, with changing rooms, hot water showers with towels, two classrooms for courses from beginner to advanced level, a technical room with 50 pieces of equipment at the disposal of customers, a store selling branded equipment. There is even a place for divers to relax before and after their dives, to chat and have a drink. The Haliotis diving school offers PADI training courses from the Bubblemaker for children to the Discover Scuba Diver course. And of course, Haliotis Santa Maria also prepares you for many PADI specialties including the AWARE Shark Conservation Specialty Course. Embark on one of the two RIB boats, Mobula or Rhincodon, which will quickly take you to the best dive sites in the Azores including Formigas and Dollabarat. However, Haliotis Santa Maria also has a large playground for its divers with 55 dive spots consisting of caves, canyons, drop-offs and reefs. Even close to the coast, you will have beautiful encounters with oceanic species such as manta rays, quite common in some places. From the end of May to mid-September, take a day trip to swim with whale sharks.
