Anthia Diving Center, based in Sesimbra, 30 km south of Lisbon, offers exploration and snorkeling in the Arrábida Natural Park. Instructors continue to search assiduously for new dive sites, although some 30 locations are already listed from Sesimbra. Here you will experience the incredible biodiversity of fauna and flora. SSI courses are offered, from Open Water Diver to Divemaster, as well as technical diving GUE. Concerned about your safety, Anthia meets your needs, whatever your level, recreational or technical. The meeting at the center takes place one hour before each sea departure. Concerned about ecology and preserving the ocean, Anthia undertakes with its divers cleaning operations of the beaches and the seabed with a Mission Deep Blue certificate. You also have the possibility to rent the boat for 2, 3 or 4 hours with a light meal onboard, in order to enjoy the sea all year round on the following themes: Dolphin Wildlife, Heart of Sesimbra, Arrábida Marine Nature, Mysterious Cabo Espichel, Monuments Route, Cascais Views. The diving center Plongée Passion Carry is located near the port of Carry-le-Rouet. Plongée Passion Carry is a small friendly structure that is open all year round. Patrick and Marlène and their team welcome you to premises fitted out for the comfort of divers with free WI-FI, hot showers, changing rooms and WC heated in winter. Coffee, tea, and freshwater are available. The FFESSM training courses at the Plongée Passion Carry diving center are aimed at adults, from baptism to level 4 with the final exam, as well as at children aged 8 to 14, from bronze to gold divers. The Plongée Passion Carry training center is approved for the reception of trainee instructors. The club Plongée Passion Carry Groups makes its facilities available to associations up to 40 divers with two boat rotations. Whether you come as a group or individually, you don't have to handle any equipment or blocks, either when loading and unloading the boat or when you leave the water. You rent new equipment here, some of which is renewed each season, and which is maintained and disinfected. The rental of the computer is offered for packages of 10 dives and for training courses. The Plongée Passion Carry shop also sells new and second-hand equipment, which is ideal for overhauling personal equipment. Board one of the two RIBs, the Pearl and the Mordor, equipped with parrot ladders and safety equipment. With a few turns of the propeller, you can reach all the sites of the Blue Coast in less than 15 minutes! Open all year round, the Palmes Beach diving center is located in Menton's Garavan harbor. Olivier Faure, Paolo Marocco and Roberto Braida welcome you aboard the Yoyo, a 12 m long, 3.5 m wide launch capable of taking 30 divers and 2 crew members to Menton's dive sites, which extend as far as the bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer. For comfort-conscious divers: on the Yoyo, you're sheltered from the sun, there are 2 ladders for ascent, a hoist to get your equipment out of the water, a wide sundeck for launching, 2 adjustable stop bars at depths of 6m and 3m for training, and plenty of space for rebreather equipment. The Palm Beach Plongée boat can be used for private outings with friends and family, taxi-boating and birthday celebrations. Here you can take diving courses ranging from PADI/SSI Scuba Diver or FFESSM Level 1 to Level 3. Or simply try a scuba diving experience in Menton! Initially known for the wreck of the German Heinkel bomber from the Second World War, located 60 m below the surface, Menton's seabed offers interesting exploration dives for divers of all levels. Menton divers now meet up after the diving season for diving trips to the Red Sea and the Maldives. Take the opportunity to laze on Menton's beaches, stroll through the Madone greenhouse, visit the Basilique Saint-Michel, the Pénitents blancs chapel and the Jean Cocteau museum. The colorful old town by the sea, with its markets set against the mountains, has a charm all its own, and its micro-climate means you can enjoy the season for a long time to come. [+]

The Subaia Campania divers diving centre is located in Baia, to the west of the Gulf of Naples, in the area known as the "Phlegrean Fields", once a holiday resort and a centre of economic and military interest in ancient Rome, and now a popular area for water sports tourism! Open from April to November, the centre is located behind the port of Baia, where the boats are moored, close to a large pay car park. The facilities include a customer reception area, a maintenance and equipment storage area, changing rooms and showers with hot water. On-site, you can refill Nitrox and Trimix cylinders, store your own diving equipment, book accommodation and access WiFi! On request, Subaia Campania divers can organise transfers to and from hotels in the "Phlegrean Fields" area, babysitting for couples wishing to dive together, and dives with a private guide. After loading the legendary Piaggio Ape with equipment to cover the 100 metres between the centre and the two semi-rigid boats, you'll meet your buddy on board, made up of a maximum of 5 divers per guide, grouped by level of experience, certification and interests. With Subaia Campania divers, you'll dive mainly in the Baia Archaeological Marine Park and in the "Regno di Nettuno" marine park, on the islands of Ischia and Procida, and on the island of Nisida. The Mantamaria diving school is located in the marina of Vila do Porto, along the mooring pontoon, on Santa Maria Island, Azores. The transport of divers and equipment is done with one of the 2 vans of Mantamaria. In the morning, board one of the 3 dive boats, the Tornado, a semi-rigid boat of 7.10 m long, the Badejo of 8 m, or the Rilusa of 7.10 m to the most beautiful spot of the Azores, the Fomigas which is a natural reserve or the Dollabarat bank. Mantamaria Dive Center favors these trips to Formigas and Dollabarat, northeast of Santa Maria, because some divers praise this Santa Maria dive site as one of the best dive sites in Europe. You will see large manta rays underwater and whale sharks, locally called pintado, on the surface. Admire also the coastline of Santa Maria by snorkeling from the boat of Mantamaria with very nice views on bays, coves, and inlets at the bottom of which nestle beaches of clear sand unique to the Azores. The bay of São Lourenço, Praia Formosa, and beautiful quiet bays like natural pools allow you to follow a PADI beginner's course at the Mantamaria diving school such as a baptism, a scuba diver, or an open water diver. In Santa Maria, you can enjoy crystal clear water and visibility up to 40 meters. The ideal time to dive in this area is from June to September, as the air and water temperatures vary between 26 and 22ºC and there is only light rainfall. [+]
