At Sunset Reef lies the LCM Nicholson wreck, as well as a 3m high bronze mermaid, 15m high, accessible from the shore.Close to Georgetown harbor, the wrecks The Balboa, 12m deep, and The Cali at 5m, are a delight for snorkelers and beginners. Best dive season
Diving in the Cayman Islands is great all year round, with water temperatures ranging from 25° to 28°C and visibility ranging from 18 to 30 meters. Rain showers occur from May to October. The hurricane season is from June to October in the Caribbean. The best time to travel to the Cayman Islands is from November to April.
Other activities
Northwest of Grand Cayman, visit the Green Turtle Farm. At Cayman Brac it is possible to make nice hikes. In Petit Cayman, go bird-watching in the Booby Pond nature reserve.
